Calypso is very much alive and happening. Calypsonians bring a lively folk theme from Trinidad to Notting Hill. You will find a mix of adult and junior Calypsonions on this page. Children are studying the art form and the tradition is moving forward. They are Playing at the costume gala and on stage within the carnival circuit. You will also find a lively Calypsonian set at yaa Assantewaa off the Harrow road on Friday nights throughout August. Then at the V&A museum for black arts month.
